Small parts joined together

Peptides are short strings of small parts joined together. Those same parts make larger substances called proteins. Insulin is one medicine built this way.

That leaves the real question open: which product, for which problem? Ask for the drug name rather than a package called peptide therapy.

Approval belongs to the product

The US drug agency is called FDA, short for Food and Drug Administration.

FDA has approved semaglutide products as shots and tablets. Brand names include Ozempic and Wegovy. FDA records checked September 26, 2026.

FDA has also approved tirzepatide injections, sold as Mounjaro and Zepbound. FDA records checked September 26, 2026.

Ask what health problem the exact medicine is approved to treat. Ask to see that use in its official drug instructions, called the product label. This means the full instructions, not just the pharmacy sticker.

An appealing goal is not proof

When a pitch says recovery, energy or healthy ageing, ask it to get specific. What problem is being treated? What source supports that claim for this medicine?

BPC-157 and ipamorelin had no approved US medicine in the FDA records checked September 26, 2026.

Ask about evidence for the exact medicine. The word peptide alone does not answer what it could do for your concern.
