For the product, read the drug source
The US drug agency is called FDA, short for Food and Drug Administration.
Compounding means making medicine to order. Use the FDA pages below for questions about custom medicines and approval. A product label is the medicine’s full official instructions, not just the pharmacy sticker.
“FDA registered” means a business has put its details on file with FDA. It does not mean FDA approved the medicine. Federal rule checked September 26, 2026.
For the person, read the matching board
Choose the board for the licence type. Match the person’s name, then ask the board to explain anything in the result you do not understand.
Arizona limits which board decisions appear online. Older public decisions about a licence may be missing from a web search. Arizona law checked October 6, 2026.
If you want to check past problems, ask the board for older public decisions about that licence. Ask what other records it can provide.
For a concern, choose the right complaint route
Ask whether your doctor has MD or DO after the name. DO means doctor of osteopathic medicine, a type of doctor with a separate licensing board.
For a complaint about an MD, use the Arizona Medical Board. For a complaint about a DO, use the Osteopathic Board. Board pages checked October 3, 2026.
The Nursing Board has an online form for complaints about possible breaches of nursing law. Board page checked October 3, 2026.
Arizona’s Attorney General accepts complaints about unfair business practices or businesses misleading customers. State page checked October 3, 2026.
Keep the written plan, label details and receipts with your notes. These complaint routes do not promise a payment or a particular outcome.
