Make the visit useful before any treatment
- What problem are we trying to address?
- Why this medicine rather than another option?
- Can I take the plan home to read?
- Who handles questions after the visit?
Bring a written list if it helps you stay on track. Ask for unfamiliar words to be explained as they come up.
